Comment:

Professor Yates teaches you how to recognize objectives and pursue objectives. The class exercises are fun. The more you participate the better. She loves it when you just be yourself. She always have a bubbly personality. I took her Summer 2013 and I had fun. She really knows her stuff. I plan on auditioning for one of her plays. Its fun.

I hated this class. The professor comes late and does not care about making you wait, then she is not even prepared. If she likes you you will get an A, if not you are screwed. She gets real sarcastic too. She does have energy but I learned nothing and at shus tuition, it was a rip

soo annoying. picks favorites. show up to class, deal with her annoying theatre personality, do the assignments and you should get a good grade. avoid using laptops because she will pick on you, its best to not use it at all. would try to avoid her because of how annoying she is, but if no other classes are open take the course get the easy credits

I took her about 3 semesters ago...I got an A b/c I practiced my speeches and put a lot of effort into it. She didn't require a textbook and there was no midterm or final. I thought my grade was going to suffer b/c I was always late to her class and she gave me that look b/c of it. I guess I was wrong!

she is a very funny teacher...but if you are not one of her favorites watch out. She grades extremely unfair to students that are not her favorites. But if you are, dont worry you'll get an A no matter what. its really unfair

Great fun class, only three speeches. Just follow her guidelines on the speeches and you'll do well. No midterm or final and no book. The only issue is attendance is mandatory but your allowed 1-2 unexcused absences. I would definately take this professor again.

EASIEST CLASS EVER! dont worry what syllabus says..only get to 3 speeches the entire semester! THATS IT! No other grades, no mid/no final. other classes have finals, textbooks, notes and long speeches. our speeches are short and easy, only hard thing is you have to be on time to class, but u have 5 xtra minutes so go...and you will get to sit there
