Delanie is awesome! She cares so much about her students. A very intimate class where she really takes the time to know you, not just as an artist/student but as a person. Pays great attention to everyone and gives helpful critiques. If you are willing to try and work hard she will give you all you could ask for as a professor.

My objection to this class had as much to do with the syllabus as with the teacher. I was wood-shopped out from high school, and would have preferred a focus on metal/foundry work. Delanie's strenghths are in teaching installation work. I prefer having Joanna for plaster work. Finally, I like to sculpt in the style of realism with many concrete ideas, and Delanie prefers abstract, general-concept oriented work, so our styles just didn't mesh.

Inspiring woman with more talent in one finger than most have in two hand. She concerns herself with every student and every detail. Always wanting you to push the limits and question, question, question! Without her I would not be the artist I am today.
