Oh my goodness, I cannot for the life of me figure this woman out! One of the most confusing and self-contradicting professors I've ever had. Such a shame that she has skewed my whole view of BritLit now. I love a challenge and am also an "A" student yet I felt like I was in a maze and she kept moving the exits. Argh! Never again!

Comment:

One of the most frustrating teachers I ever had. She talks herself in circles and isn't clear about she's looking for in any assignment. Very difficult to understand and talk to her. For every major assignment, I've had to go into her office hours and have her walk me through step by step. Even there I'm still confused. I'm an A student too.

Delilah is very funny and knowledgable. She's passionate about what she teaches, although it can be really confusing sometimes since they're abstract lit theories. She makes you work for your grades, but she's very fair

One of the best professors I've had the privilege to take. Her assignments are not easy but she coaches you on what she expects. She very helpful if you don't understand an assignment. She challenges students and you can learn from her if you are a motivated student. Her personality is awesome!

The woman drove me nuts! She could never keep me interested in class and gave some ridiculous assignments. I don't feel that I ever really wrote a paper myself because I would turn it in early and she would completely change it until it was written practically by her. That was the only way I could get a good grade on it. She's a nice person but as a professor I couldn't stand her.

Comment:

Taught me how to write, how to organize my thoughts, how to give credit to my sources, how to research, how to structure a good paper. This class has probably has probably been the most useful of my non-major courses in my career and life in general. She also taught me how to do public speaking, which is very useful. One of my favorite professors, and most influential in my education. I owe her a lot.
