Awesome professor. She loves Shakespeare and Chaucer haha. Really entertaining. Make sure to do ALL the work and STUDY for her exams. Since it's a humanities class she doesn't really grade harshly on essays. Lots of group work and interesting and funny lectures! I would def. take her again. :)

She's nice and all but to be honest, the way she grades is flat out harsh! In all my other english classes I've gotten A's on my essays but with her I've gotten nothing better than a C. Unless you are a PERFECT writer, don't take it !

Her exams are easy if you read the material and pay attention in class. She grades extremely hard on term papers; offers vague guidelines on what you can write. She never hands back work that can be helpful when studying for exams. Claims to not lecture a lot, but often times will talk until her voice becomes an annoying buzzing in your ears.

EXCELLENT!! a teacher's teacher. Quality!! it doesn't matter what she does, YOU'LL learn. Follow the syllabus, QUIZZES- DO the work, BE there! Pescarmona is the best English teacher i have ever had. It is beyond advantageous to take her 101 honors course. you won't ever fear a five, or longer, page paper. She helps you when you have any questions and is a very fair and explanatory grader on projects. She even writes a legitimate page of comments about everyones essays!

Class was what I expected, slightly difficult, slightly heavy work load, but nothing too heavy to handle. You have to read and write, go figure it's an advanced ENGLISH class people. She's great, I learned a lot from her, and shes so funny and entertaining. Yes she grades hard, but I found her grading to be fair. READ for quizes! Enjoy her!

Grades hard, but is very fair. Gives you a very direct outline as to what she wants. As long as you follow the directions and fulfill the requirements you'll do well. Very helpful when you have questions, I had many being that I didn't take Eng 091. Highly recommended as long as you are aware that you must do the work.

Read everything and answer the question asked. If you can do these two things, life will be a whole lot easier in this class. Then again, I am sure the same goes for all classes. Took 250 and 102 (online) with her. She is awesome... truly gives the material new meaning and makes it interesting. Don't expect to get off easy though... 102 has a lot of essays, 250 has a lot of reading. So worth it though! Great professor, and she recognizes hard work and a motivated student. Like someone else said, she rocks! ;)

She wasn't really available most of the time and she doesn't answer emails very fast. Also, she posts your grade very last which kind of makes it hard to know how she grades. She made the first part of Brit Lit enjoyable. That's saying a lot when you consider that Beowulf, Arthur, Chaucer, and Milton, are heavy in the mix. Denee's a lot of fun and knows her stuff.
