Comment:

She definitely gives a full load of work. She is unorganized and forces the class to but a $70 CD on top of the expensive book. The CD virtual labs don't make sense and do not take this class if you can't dedicate you life!

What sucks is that she was unorganized, the materials and reading is interesting. Except for the virtual labs which seem pointless. You have to read through links, chapters, etc. for tests.

This professor is extremely demanding so if you have a full load and can't dedicate at least 2 hours a day on the short term class, don't bother wasting your time. It's a lot of lame work, tons of virtual labs(2 a week) and LOTS of reading because her tests are about the details that you can't get from just skimming so this class is difficult.

I'm kinda biased since I don't buy the whole evolution theory (I guess she didn't do a good job teaching 'cause I'm not convinced!). Anyway, too many virtual labs. They are soooo lame and boring. They take up so much time without giving you a single piece of knowledge that is actually worth remembering. Look elsewhere if you want an G.E. class

Ms. Couch is an excelent teacher. Insighful Discussions,films and documentaries are given. Very very interesting teacher with a broad backgorund of research and great input into anthro knowledge. Very leniant, although encouraging hardwork. Great work ethic.I recommend taking her;I enjoyed her class

I took Anth 104 with Browder but ended up dropping because of my schedule but she was much better. Couch was not helpful with me and seemed to get annoyed easily. I do not recommend her at all.
