BODY IMAGE LAB - The first .5 of the semester was focused on learning the framework & theories of body image and the last 6 weeks was all about the research paper. Consists of 2 quizzes, midterm, 5 labs, and the research paper. The only thing I wish she changes is starting research for the final paper as soon as the semester starts, it helps a lot.

Professor Davidson is a bit odd, but she is really nice and will help you if you go to her office hrs. I don't understand how anyone can fail the class, unless they did nothing in their RM class. 2 exams, some class work, and a research paper. Remember attention to detail, she'll take off for little things. Other than that, easy class.

Honestly worse teacher I've taken at Loyola and trust me I've had about the worst.. She gives absolutely no help with anything, hopefully you're a mind reader because thats the only way you'll get a good grade on her papers and exams. Takes off points for the stupidest things ever! Don't take if you value your GPA.. DONT TAKE DONT TAKE DONT TAKE!!!

I agree with the other responses, she is a great professor and extremely helpful, but just doesn't help you with the research paper (since its a lab class) until about the beginning of the last month. Rather frustrating when you have all your other classes to worry about.

Genuinely nice woman with a fair midterm and gives great feedback. Only problem is that course is centered around a research paper that she really only gives you the tools for until right before the paper is due and not the 4 weeks or so of class that she gives you off in the beginning of the semester to work on it.

Developmental psych is Prof. Davidson's baby so she knows a lot about it. The midterm is super easy--fill out the study guide/memorize it and you'll be fine. The class is centered around doing our own research projects, so they take a bit of work. She's easy to get along with and tries (sometimes too hard) to connect with students. Not bad.

Interesting and funny, but BAD on test day. She only gives three tests, comprised of material from the book and the lecture (you CAN't miss any class), but the tests are SO detailed. It's stuff you wouldn't even write down in your notes. Her study guides are completely inaccurate, don't believe them. Killed my GPA, I was an A student.

Funny lectures but you will not learn anything from her. She takes too much time giving examples and at the end of class you end up learning maybe a quarter of what you should have learned to pass on he test. If you're really interested in psych, find someone who actually teaches.

Take this class! She is a great teacher. I donĂ¢€™t understand why people are complaining, it is college, and you have to work for your grades. She gives extra credit. The only catch, she uses in class example on the test, so attending lectures would be a good idea. Very interesting and lively teacher. I was never bored even ones in her class.

Can someone please explain to me how I get great grades in pre-med classes, yet received a C+ in a 200 level Psychology class? She's a horrible teacher, do NOT take her if you enjoy keeping a decent GPA.

Clear as to what is expected of you, kind of anal on test days about like how far apart the desks are, always has good stories to relate to what we're learning, teaches well...the tests are challenging but as long as you go to class and study you'll be fine...I got an A...and I'd take her again...(Offers Research opprotunities!)

READ YOUR BOOK!! she is a great teacher! has a lot of interesting stories, and many real-life examples to go along with the material. her tests are a bit tricky, but read the book, and go to class to take notes and you'll do fine!

Prof is snobby/unhelpful/rude/arrogant. Lectures only contain about 50% of test material. Lots of reading involved. She may seem cheery, softspoken and sweet, but she can really just turn on students in a second. It's weird. Half of classes contain movies that seem unrelated to the class. EX opportunites, but only for one point. I hated her.

I totally hated her. Listen to me when i say she is not a good teacher. She makes you read the book and take notes but when it comes to the test, it's so hard and it's not worth taking her. there are far better teachers than her. She discusses experiments and good stuff but none of it is on the test, so what's the point? Also, she rarely ever answe

Make sure to read the book and all of the info in the sidebars BEFORE it comes down to the night before the test. Re-read it. Take the online quizzes. Glance over your notes. That's the key to success in this class :)

Don't let her cheerie disposition and fun attitude fool you, she's a tough one. Interesting lectures, but her tests are really tough. Don't miss class and take great notes, read every little detail in your book and study hard (esp. medical details). She's helpful if you put forth effort.
