Horrible professor!!! Does not care at all. Happy to give out C's D's and F's. Makes you memorize facts which you end up forgetting about anyways. What he should be doing is teaching to different learning styles and not straight lecture. Terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had Dr. D for three different classes..all tues/thurs..double blocks..LOVED HIM. Loved his sense of humor..you must attend and pay attention-take notes. I also had Dr. D as an advisor and he was great. I would recommend anyone taking SpEd at KU to take Dr. D..or you'll miss out on a great experience. I miss Dr.D's sarcastic comments!

Dr. Dietrich was a bit confusing for me at first didnt do well on the first test but that was because i didnt know how to prepare sometimes the classes do feel long but if you hate group work this is the class for you! i did learn a lot and if you write everything down and actually listen to the man you will succeed

Dr. Dietrich is a great teacher. When I first had him I wasn't sure what to make of him. I learned so much and now that I am teaching I know that he has really prepared me for the real world. He is difficult but what you learn is very important information for when you become a professional.

I had Dr. Dietrich this summer. I have so much respect for him. I earned a B in the class. A lot of people complain about how the class is hard but it is a 300 level. He prepares you for the real world! He's great!

I used to hate having Dr. D as a teacher. He is very sarcastic and arrogant and enjoys putting his students down. Then I became used to his style after three years and I have grown to kind of like him. He does prepare you for the real world!
