Solid professor. His class is hard but he will work with you if needed. He grades tough but will always give some kind of curve. Tries to make it a little interesting as much as "Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory" can be.

Really enjoyed the way Dr Edwards taught macro. Taught us concepts related to real life. Going to class is very important to take notes! He wrote his own textbook and taught each classs straight from his textbook and just took notes on whatever he highlighted (i was in the guinea pig class for this). DO the extra credit it will pull you up!

Worstmost stressful class of my semester. He changed the whole class setup this semester. He just wrote his own $100 textbook and encourages you to buy it but don't unless you're going to skip class. He now gives 6 quizzes but drops the lowest and 3 tests. No test reviews which was AWFUL. Only perksextra credit and final exemption if get 95 pts

Favorite prof so far. I even changed my major to econ I enjoyed him that much. go to class and take the notes he writes on the board. 3 tests each with extra credit options and reviews and if you have a 100 (which isnt difficult to get) you don't have to take the final

TAKE HIM. He is the best professor that I have had at Coastal so far, hands down. Very clear, concise, and makes the material actually understandable instead of speaking a foreign language. He genuinely wants his students to succeed and offers a lot of extra credit.

Dr. Dennis Edwards is hands down the BEST Economics Professor Coastal has to offer. I'd easily give him a 5-star rating due to the fact that: He is VER knowledgable in his subject, Test questions are ALL based out of you're notes & There is NO class work other than 3 exams, an accumulative final and 4 extra credit assignments. AWESOME PROFESSOR!!!!

He is a very good professor. Thorough, knowledgeable. Don't buy the book. Don't miss the class and if you do get the notes. Study the notes very thoroughly and you will be fine. If you have an A going into the final, you won't have to take the final which is cool. all around excellent professor just be prepared to work hard.

Doesnt take attendance, but if you don't go to class you will have no idea whats going on. Explains things very well and tests come right from his notes. Took his class last semester and dropped because i never went and was failing, took it this semester and went to every class and got an A. Dont buy the book!! you don;t use it

Very good teacher. Makes you work for your grade and you really need to go to class because his notes are really detailed. The exams come right from the notes too. You will have to put in time to get the grade, but you'll learn the most from his classes.

great teacher but not too easy. everything on the exam is went over in great detail in class. if you miss class be sure to get the notes. he is exceptional at explaining so attend class and study the notes:youll be fine. didnt use text really just the notes...can earn an A but have to earn
