No thank you. Classes were useless, and I learnt mostly nothing. Just did all of the projects the morning they were due and passed with flying colours. Just proves theres nothing behind the assignments.

Dennis Geden,one of a kind. We butted heads a lot. In hindsight, this has benefited my development as an artist! At the time, I disliked him for it. He marked me hard because he didn't like mystyle perceived effort. His marking seemed inconsistent. In the end, it doesnt matter which one of us was right. I am better for having had him,Greatartist

If your ideas match his ideas then you're golden. If you think for yourself and can draw as well or better than he can then watch out. While his techniques are fine, his work is cartoon like. He should have been an illustrator not a painter.

How call they call this guy a professor? Maybe because that's all he does - professes!...mostly about himself! If you disagree with him or have YOUR OWN IDEAS, look out. Not one for criticism. Very thinned skinned. Want a "A" in his course? Suck up to him. He relishes the attention.

Denis really cares about his students. He is always there for him if you need help. He is a great person and is very encouraging. He is a great teacher if you aren't looking to slack off. The students that don't like him are usually the lazy students who feel they are the best artists already! He has a lot to offer as a teacher.

Stay AWAY from his painting class! This prof. is the poorest excuse for a teacher. He may be a recognized artist in his own right but all he does is give assignments and the feedback is worthless. I wish I could go back to OCAD but family prevents me from doing so.

He may have a reputation as an artist but he sure can't teach! I've had some poor teachers along the way and this one tops them all. He doesn't even deserve to be on the bottom of the list. He has his own category: TERRIBLE! DO NOT... repeat...DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!

I wish this prof. would teach something. All he does is give assignemnts and never really gives you any guidance. I could mor help from how to paint books from Coles. I'm told that he is a good artist. Maybe he is but he's definately a very bad teacher. Don't take his course. You'll be disappointed.
