Comment:
Professor Turner is extremely inspiring and funny. However I think that the reading load is somewhat heavy for a 300-level class, some weeks we had about a 80 pages to read which might be ususal for other majors but isn't really for mine. Overall though, she's very inspiring and her lectures are very dynamic.

Professor Turner is amazing. Her lectures are compelling and interesting. The only assignment you have for that class is journal reflections on each lecture and 4 super easy pop quizzes. GEOG 310 is taught by three teachers throughout the semester and she is by far the sweetest and the best.

One of the best GEOG profs at McGill. Lectures are interesting, but this class had a 3 hr lecture so they were long! She is always willing to help you. No testsfinal exam. There's a group presentation, reading journals (which aren't as easy as they sound) and a research proposal (the hardest project because it doesn't relate to class material).

Great prof, super interesting and funny. It's graded way harder than a 200-level intro course, but still not too hard to do well if you put the work in.

Turner's a cool prof. She teaches very clearly, sometimes even too clearly (information very broken down). Having said that she's obviously extremely intelligent, has done interesting field work and lectures well.

A really straightforward and clear prof. Lectures are very well structured with an appropriate amount of info tackled per lecture. Very nice/helpful and her research in Southeast Asia makes the class really interesting. It's a class you look forward to going to .

Really nice prof. and person. Gets her information across well. Makes the class very interesting. My only criticism is that she may in fact (yes, I'm going to say it) be too easy. But hey, if you want to get a cool perspective of SEA, check this class out. NO final!

really interesting. never really knew much about south-east asia which intimidated me at first, but it is by far one of the most insipring class ever which leads you wanted to learn more about it. The exams are really fair and you will do well if you study the slides.
