Comment:

Show up and you'll pass no prob. He goes over EXACTLY how to do the lab and get the results before you are able to start. he gives sample questions each class to prepare you for the test but if you show up and do the lab correctly you dont have to study for the test. He answers any question no problem. I really liked taking him.

Comment:

He is by far the best Chemistry teacher at IRSC. He takes a really daunting subject like chemistry and explains it to you in a way that you will actually understand! Unfortunately, Summer 1's going to be his last year teaching. Taking him again for Orgo 1, Hate morning classes but he's the Only professor I will make the exception for a 9:15am.

His lectures are seriously confusing! Honestly, the "homework" (not collected, not for a grade) is the material on the test. Study the homework and you'll pass. He drops the lowest grade, even if it's the final. Attendance is not even taken; he didn't know my name!

Dr Loehr is a very sweet man. He teaches in a very calm way to make a very tough course be more understandable. He gives extra credit and you better take advantage of this if you want to pass. Studying was not enough for me to get a good grade. I re-took it by itself and saw a tutor twice a week. It paid off, got an A! Classes are recorded.

ABSOLUTLY the best teacher at IRSC. He runs through everything that you will need to know for a test, he'll answer all of your questions and make sure that you understand, he's really easy to take to if you have any questions. his tests are easy, and he gives a lot of extra credit. Took him for Organic Chem and it was an easy A, barely had to study

Dr. Loehr IS THE BEST professor I had at this school. He really helps you out, the tests and lectures easy to understand I had a huge course load and towards the end I admit I stopped studying for his class due to my other classes, but still got a B. I would recommend him to anyone and Everyone, he is retiring very soon. TAKE HIM BEFORE HE LEAVES!!

Dr. Loehr is Amazing. He's an old school teacher that writes down his lectures and shows you how stuff is done. he doesn't do powerpoint. In my chem 2 class we had 4 tests and he dropped 1, so if you did bad on more then 1 you might be in trouble. he offers a lot of extra credit if you participate in the science club. Ultimately, great teacher!!

I had DR. Loehr for both lecture and lab. For lab he was awesome and kept us on point. Make sure you study before the tests though. Your final grade is 50% tests and 50% labs. It's super easy to 100 on all of your labs.

Extremely helpful and amazing man. Does anything to help portray the ideas being taught. Tests are all from the notes he gives in class. If I were still attending IRSC I would take any class taught by Loehr in a heartbeat.

By far one of the best instructors at IRSC. He actually teaches instead of reading off of slides. Straight forward about tests, doesn't make you fill your head with unnecessary information. ASC Lab has old test to study from, I suggest going to study sessions, it'll be an easy A. Definitely taking Loehr again!

Professor Loehr is a great professor. I took him for lecture and lab. He really wants his students to succeed; he learns our names and helps our grade out with some extra credit. Just pay attention to his lectures and do practices problems and you will ace his class!

What can I say about Dr Loehr? By far THE best teacher I've EVER had! He is so nice and considerate. He knows the names of each and every student and that pushes me to learn and study more because he cares so much about my success. His tests are straight forward and on point. NO TRICKS! Orgo is not easy so you have to do the hw. I recommend him

I'm still in the middle of his class, but since I'm on here...I think he's very good! He likes to use analogies as a teaching style. So far he's made the class stress/anxiety free. His final exam is non-comprehensive, and he gives 3 other tests with 3 chapters each on them. I like the pace we're going at. Will take again for organic chem.

Dr. Loehr was all right. I took him for General Chemistry I. I would not recommend taking him if you are not at least somewhat knowledgable in Chemistry. He answers questions. His lectures are a bit fast. Grade is based off three tests out of four (drops the lowest test). Also gives up to fifteen (15) extra credit points. Ended up with a "C".

Very good teacher! I recommend him to anybody. I didn't get to see how he teachers for the entire semester because I had to withdraw but I know for a fact that he is funny and helpful and you will enjoy having him as a teacher! Enjoy!

Fantastic professor. He answers any questions you have and explains what is expected of you for the exams. If you have a bad test, don't stress, you can drop one. He doesn't skip material so when you move on to the next course you are very prepared. He really is great all around!

Awesome professor! Use his study guides, very helpful. The final totally blew me out of the water though, it was really hard, and I studied for like 5 hours straight for it, and I don't even think I passed, so be prepared. Had a B average before hand though.. We'll see. Great proff though. Would definitely take him again.
