While I agree with Lum's worldview, and I recognize his understanding of sociology as indepth, he remains an unintelligent hack who loves nothing more than the sound of his own voice. It is unfortunate that he remains at the fort- real scholarship is being impeaded.

wow. I had this guy over 7 years ago and he still makes me angry. Really, he spent all this time in the class baking pentinence to the women in the class for being a male. OK, he could have been going through a phase, but never have I had a worse teacher. Never thought of new ideas.

Dennis is a compassionate man whose emotions seem to teach the class - from both experience and knowledge on the subject. A lot of reading - interaction is a must. Awesome use of videos to demonstrate social issues

I think he is great professor. He has so much to give to a class from personal experiences alone. He is brilliant, very caring, and always willing to learn and discuss. He does come off as being unprepared for class, but I think his approach is great.
