Worst teacher I have had at MSU. Don't try to think for yourself or think outside the box. Just read the book and take your own notes. He doesn't really talk about what is really going on with class work and tests, but talks about real world happenings that do deal with the subject. I don't recommend him. He should be retired soon anyways.

I feel bad for this... I had a low B the entire semester and rarely attended class. But I asked my professor for an A on the final exam because I wrote an extra essay. I ended up getting an A.

Dr. Gray is such a nice professor but lectures are usually hard to follow. If you study the objectives and read the book you can do alright. He is also very generous on grading the tests. Most tests I left feeling like I did horrid but when I got the grade did just fine.

Dr. Gray is pretty cool. He totally resembles Farnsworth, as previously stated, but he's a nice guy. I got a D on the first test, ended up with an A in the class. He hooks it up with extra credit, and will throw out bad test questions, but people have to make the effort to bring it up.

I feel bad giving him a bad rating, because he's just the nicest old man. But this class is way harder than it needs to be. I always understand all of the material but the test questions are so confusing that I feel like I'm guessing on every one. You end up having to teach yourself everything out of the book because the lectures are just rambling.

Before this class, I hated psychology because it was just so much information to take in all at once. This teacher did not improve my interest in it whatsoever. Granted, he's a nice guy, but his way of teaching is just ok. He tells a lot of stories, and has other non-related information. Read the book and just be prepare to learn by yourself.

Dr Gray doesn't lecture so much as he tells stories, asks questions, and scribbles graphs on the board that mean nothing on test day. His tests are multiple choice with a few "application" type questions. Read the book alongside his list of objectives for each group of chapters (I take notes on them) and you'll be fine.

Imagine if Professor Farnsworth from Futurama taught a class... He really does needs to retire. His lectures are all over the place, tests are hard and he doesn't do essays anymore. He did allow some extra credit and he must have had a wicked curve, cause I was worried I might not get a C and came out with a B (was mathmatically impossible).

This class was extremely boring but Gray doesn't take attendance so it is easy to skip. Even though he is boring and gets off topic often he is a really nice guy who is dedicated to his job and willing to help you. The class is made up of only 3 tests so study hard for all of them.

Great teacher! The lectures will seem useless if you are too lazy to read the book. He will not spoon feed the text to you. His lectures elaborate on the concepts. He provides study guides and asks for reasonable 1 to 1 and a half page essays to be turned in at test time. I learned a lot and enjoyed his lectures. I highly recommend this professor.

Dr. Gray is really nice guy but his class is really boring. He doesnt stay on task and his lectures really seem pointless. The tests are hard but the essays usually make up for them.

Listen to others. Talks about himself and irrelevant topics. He is very nice and takes attendance, but mostly i daydream that i wasn't wasting my time. Tests are kinda hard, since you rely heavily on book. He gives objectives, but you'll need to look it up on your own. If you're interested to learn about adolescence, then don't take him.

Nice friendly guy but there is little relevance to the subject in class discussion. If I hear the baseball story again I'll scream! READ THE TEXTBOOK--you would fail w/o it. If you read the book the tests aren't too hard. He makes getting an A fairly easy with other assignments.

Dr. Gray is nice..but the WORST teacher I have ever taken class with. He never talked about anything conducive to the class subject, and no one ever showed up because of it. He was lucky if 5 people showed up. Time for this guy to retire.

Flunked all my tests-never opened the book-turned in all of the journal assignments. He doesn't even read them and gives everyone a perfect score. I ended up w/ a B in the class. 1 lg. assign. but have an alternate assignment if you don't want to do the other. Some students did both for xtra crdt. I took as night class and left at break every night
