he was not good at explaining assignments, was not good or nice to speak to outside of class, didnt make the class interesting, and would stand and lecture the class using "rhetoric" jargon and issues not pertaining to anything in the class for the first half hour. this class was difficult to make myself go to every week.

Comment:

I had Dennis for Accelerated Rhetoric, 10:003. The course itself is very dry, and the assignments are in no way interesting. Yet my biggest issue of this class was the way he presented information. He talked himself in circles trying to emphasize a point and left students confused. He never directly answered questions either. Not clear or concise.

He expects his students to already know how to everything. He didn't teach us anything; I still don't even know what "rhetoric" means, yet on every assignment I had to "analyze rhetoric." Not knowing what rhetoric was made that quite difficult. He assigns a lot of useless homework, and the major assignments are tedious and boring.I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Dennis is a fantastic professor. He's very well-versed in English Renaissance and Jacobean Drama. The course work is very reasonable. He is particularly interested in what students make of the readings. Overall, Dennis led a really enjoyable class.

Comment:

He's the prof. of EPB and after about the 2nd week you learn to hate him. Alot of busy work. Gave one A out. 25+ papers. Makes an ass of you if you didn't think the same as he did on something If you like busting your balls and getting shot down cuz you're wrong, i still wouldnt recommend this fool!
