he gets off topic so much that there really is no main point he's trying to get across. yet, class is always very interesting, no matter what he is talking about. we spent an entire day trying to name the 7 dwarfs

Frame of context? After my 8 years of college and three degrees, I can honestly say that Dr. T. was the best prof I ever had. A super intellect, his wry humor accented the deep, yet timeless knowledge he conveyed on Anthro, his special expertise. Even though he's probably the smartest guy I ever met, he was always very conscientious, never aloof.

He is pretty absent-minded sometimes, and gets off topic quite easily, but he definitely knows his stuff and has had first-hand experience living in/with other cultures, so when he does lecture, he knows what he's talking about. Maybe a little too much info on his private life, but otherwise a good guy!

Dennis is an interesting person. He is super smart, but everyone now knows his personal life. He is quite forgetful but if you want a semi easy class take one of dennis'

Dennis was quite the interesting teacher. I really enjoyed his class overall. He does talk about his personal life a lot. Sometimes took a while to understand concepts, but he was very helpful when things wheren't clear.

Mr. Templeman should not have been a teacher. He seems to know his subject but he cannot teach. Don't take this class if you can avoid it.

Lectures unclear if any given at all...class in his home was a joke. If you are an anth major, you have to take him, just be prepared to learn the subject on your own

He moved class to his house. We would show up and he'd still be sleeping. He never presented an actual lecture. I feel very unprepared in Anthropological Methodology. Very unprofessional. Talks about his personal life quite a bit.
