Tom's classes are easy but boring. He tends to ramble and repeat information. I learned more from the textbook than from class. Cognition itself is fairly interesting however.

Lectures are off topic, he rambles, disorganized and unprepared takes weeks to grade tests, and even longer for him to respond to an email i would suggest taking this course with another professor if possible. on a side note he is a very smart and ok dude just not a very good professor

Easy enough class, but so frustrating. He doesn't respond to emails and takes months to get tests back to you. He also never seems prepared and tends to ramble on and on in class.

I feel like I'm a little late jumping on this bandwagon, but Tom's pretty cute for an older guy! He does tend to go on and on when lecturing, especially when he is excited about the material. But I can guarantee you that if he didn't do that, my understanding of the material would not have been as clear.

Tom is one of the best and coolest profs on campus. You can tell he puts a lot of thought into his lectures, and tests are reasonable. It also doesn't hurt that he's pretty sexy.. I would recommend him as a prof.
