Very interesting and good lectures. Gives good insight into industry. Full term group assignment is worth huge part of mark but instructions and direction of project are unclear. Must show up to lectures to understand content and concepts. But lectures are usually interesting and learn lots.

This class was by far the most interesting course I had ever taken in GBC. Derek gives amazing real-world advices. Students will definitely use their Project Management knowledge/skills for a lifetime.

Derek is the best prof Ive taken. He is not just a teacher, he cares, helps, respects you and is so kind. I loved his class it really engages you and easy to understand. Take his class you wont regret. I love this teacher.

content is so hard especially if your not majoring in project management his tests are 15 pages long YES 15 PAGES !!!! and his project is also very hard more content than any other classes that are my major !!! will not take again

Its not a bad professor but his exams are very tough then what he teaches us in test review before. Questions are very surprising and then you loose marks for it. Very tough grader as well. But will also help you theough semester but if you want good marks i d rather say no here

This professor will most likely be your favourite professor if you actually pay attention and put in the work. He is hands down my favourite professor and consider him a friend. Derek is an energetic professor who is very knowledgeable and is a strong teacher. His marking is slightly tough and I would suggest to put your best effort in to get maximum marks. There is a MAJOR GROUP PROJECT that takes up many weeks of class, so be sure to choose your team members wisely because you cannot switch groups.^

Hes one the best Profs Ive had through my entire time at George Brown. He goes through the course content thoroughly during his lectures. There is NO textbook or extra readings needed. He does a great review before midterms with real life examples. Just be at class and pay attention and youll know enough to get an A.

Derek is an exceptional instructor. His lectures are very interactive and allows students to engage with the content with ease. This is truly one of those courses that an hour of lecture can equate to 4 hours of studying. His exams are fair, and the big project carries specific instructions and he is ready to help at all times.

Best professor I've had so far! Derek is very passionate about the course HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING HIS CLASS He makes the course fun & interesting, lectures are not boring, a really funny guy! He gives participation marks for easy assignment in class that help you learn the content. Derek proved he cares about his students and wants you to succeed!

Derek is the best prof, I have had so far. He is really understanding and kind. He teaches well, and engages the class rather than reading off the ppt. No textbook required! His exam review is everything he puts on the exam. Really easy marker! WOULD TAKE HIM AGAIN 100%
