This teacher has a fancy, overcomplicated website, and her lessons are riddled with spelling and grammer errors which makes it even more confusing. Whenever you ask her for help, she will simply reply with "Sorry you are having trouble." I think it's just an auto-response. Quite possibly senile. Don't take her class.

Miss Dellacosta was a good teacher. She kept in touch alot which is very helpful. I took her online and there was a few misunderstandings about how to send in the speech and such sorts like that but besides that I would recommend her. I got an A! :D!

This was probably one of the worst classes I have taken so far in college. At first, I thought she was going to be a decent teacher, but her grading on speeches is so weird. She uses WebCT A LOT. Also, she gets really offended when you do not understand material and takes it personally.

I took this course online. She is a very snappy teacher and seems to think that her class is crystal clear which it is not. The work in the class is alright. The most fustrating thing is the fact that you have to video record your own speechs and come up your own aduience or she will give you a 0. I would not suggest selecting her.

Horrible online teacher, period. Very unclear with assignments and due dates, always says to refer to an unclear syllabus, her emails to problems are confusing and not helpful at all, NOT LENIANT WITH DUE DATES. Doesn't care about technical problems even if you are actively pursuing to correct them! Do NOT take online.

If you do your work you can get a good grade. Her feedback is a unclear but you can get thigs out of it. The first two exams are ok if you go to class & read. The final is AWEFUL!!! Beware!!! Its not from her notes or from the book. Seriously her final is just ridiculus. Thank god its not worth much. If you want to learn public speaking take her.

Mrs. D is by far very unclear when giving feedback on assignments and answering questions. The coureload is about average, eveything is on WEB Ct, which all the time has glitches. She is somewhat comprehensive towards students, depends if the student has shown interest in obtaining a good grade. Overall, I disliked her Sarcasm.

Reading the other ratings I think I took a totally different teacher. I was unsure about taking her because of the posts here but they are misleading. It was an online course but she still interacted with the students. She was very helpful when I emailed her questions. Very understanding of students as well. I would recommend her without a doubt.

Awful and clarity. Was a webcourse so my email responses from her were the worst. Never gave specific feedback AT ALL after speeches, which...is the point of a speech class. asked us to refer to syllabus, no matter the question, which may as well have been just a puffed up intro, not itinerary. Disorganized, critical, and unhelpful to say the least
