Honestly this class was really hard for me but Diana was SO nice and helpful and worked really hard to help me out. She is so sweet and very helpful. However, her classes are 3 hours a week with one hour mon, wed, fri. You learn new stuff on monday, review on wednesay, test on friday. It moves very quickly and it's tough if you fall behind at all.

She is such an amazing professor! She is hilarious and helpful and interesting and so passionate about what she teaches. She taught Greek and Latin and she was great for both. If you have the chance to take any class taught by her and you enjoy languages, I highly recommend it.

Very helpful and friendly, but Mon/Wed class then a cumulative quizzes every Friday was NOT conducive to getting a good grade. 30 students at start (more than half in science), 6 left at the end. Unless you have extensive experience with languages, particularly Latin, this will be a VERY hard course, but Wood is indeed there to help!

She actually LOVES latin. Expectations for memorization are high but she always does everything in her power to see her students succeed, with a smile on her face and great enthusiasm. As a side note, the course (at least Latin 1000) is taught entirely out of the textbook, which makes attendance slightly more optional.

she is a good teacher and tried to help as much as she can, but the course material in any langue class is EXTREAMLY hard. never miss a class trust me. unfortunatly she moves too fast and piles on the work expecting you to memorize the meaning and spelling od ALOT of words.

She is so clear & ready to help students (she gives tutoring sessions all of the time!). She doesn't surprise students on quizzes and will go to any length to help them do well & wants to see them succeed(as long as you do your part of course). She is upbeat and makes latin just a little more exciting... because really, how exciting can it be?

Awesome teacher, so straightforward. Weekly quizzes are a great way to make sure you know your material and she tells you exactly what's on them most of the time so that there are no surprises. She also seems to truly love what she does. Overall great prof.
