Dr. Bottomley is one of the best professors I've had so far. She really cares about her students and makes an effort to get to know them. She is really helpful and understanding. She's flexible and willing to change deadlines as needed. It's a pretty easy class if you show up and do the work.

Amazing professor who is willing to work one on one with you to make sure you are ready for the real world of teaching. At the end of the year, she gave us each books for our future classrooms. Also has really great relations with teachers in local schools

Dr. B is one of my favorite professors I've had at BSU! She cares so much about her students. Some say she's strict, but she just expects a lot out of us (which she should, since you're at least at 300 level courses when taking her class) She gave such great feedback, and made me feel confident in my ability! Be ready to work hard, but learn a lot!

Dr. Bottomley is the BEST education teacher I have had at BSU. She expects a lot from you, but she is so passionate about teaching and wants nothing more than for you to succeed. She was very flexible and let students turn in assignments late if there was confusion. She is such a sweetheart and I highly recommend taking her class!

I feel like if I had student taught prior to this class, I would have been prepared. She didn't teach much, and many of my peers based their strategies and practices on what they learned in student teaching. Also, if she puts you with an ELL, you will have to work much harder! Very little support with very high expectations!

Would not let me teach, and when I brought her boss into it (because she was screwing me over), she said I could teach, but at that point I had very little chance of passing the class (because I missed two weeks of teaching). I was forced to drop the class, because of her. AVOID BOTTOMLEY.
