Very good teacher! Best english teacher I have ever had! Probably not the easiest professor you will have, but you will learn so much! She gave me a new understanding of writing. If you willing to work hard, I strongly recommend her!

Great professor!!!!! BUT, don't be fooled by her stunning smiles and witty sense of humor, she doesnt play any games when it comes to your work being done and grading. I honestly believe you get what you earn in that class, so it would be advantageous, to keep up with your work and turn it in on time. If you do that the class will be a breeze.

She is a great instructor. I really enjoyed this class. I took this class in six-week summer session; it very intense. She made it very clear in the beginning of what to expect and how she expected to perform. She didn't hold back just because it was a summer course. This class was very helpful and fun! Professor Canow is one of the best teachers I have had both in highschool and in college. She is incredibly helpful and open-minded. Even if she doesn't agree with your viewpoint she still respects it and you. The work is difficult, but interesting and fun. Class is more interactive, not lecture.
