At first I was a little overwhelmed b/c she gets ahead of herself sometimes. She encourages visiting her office hours and holds review sessions before each test. Tests are mostly fair. She gives it to you straight and tells you to focus on the more important problems. Essays are a little out there, but they're not worth a lot of points on the test.

Teacher did not give fair short answer questions. If you give a review sheet usually the short answer questions will coincide. Hers did not. Was in her office just about every week to work with her and still failed the course, yet still made deans list for the semester. This was the worst professor I had during my years at SNHU. She was difficult, negative and spent many days ranting about how our class was full of morons. That where she came from had students lightyears beyond our abilities. Her tests were almost impossible. She was available for extra help, but it was better to get a bad grade and avoid contact.

I really liked Prof. Lander. She works really hard to get people to understand the material. She has set up a lab for the course for people who need help. She will go out of her way to meet with you if you're having trouble with the material. She has several study sessons before each test. Only way to fail is if you don't try.

Dr. Lander is tough but fair. She expects you to work hard to master the material. If you do all of the homework and attend class you should do well. If you do the work and are having difficulty she will work very hard to help you. She is more available to students than any other professor I have ever had.
