She designed this course without any in class tests. Our tests involved how well we comprehended the readings and how well we could apply what we read. Our last project consisted of us creating an infographic. Needless to say if you are not a favorite student, she will grade yours more rigorously than others.

Gave 4 speeches. The final was to revise one of them&use visuals. Follow the guidelines she gives or you will not receive the grade you want. The day you give your speech you turn in an outline. Allowed to use notecards during the speech. Cancelled classes after she provided her guidelines for the speech&held office hours to help you one on one!

Poor teaching style. Not clear. Very tough grader. Class is a must. MUST get on her good side. Workshops are little help. Little flexibility on speeches, & grades them hard. T&F quizzes, not bad. Gets off topic A LOT. Offers more criticism than help. No late work. Doesnt accommodate for disabilities. Wouldn't recommend AT ALL. Dont expect an A.

The class is terrible. The first few days she acts all nice, says it will be a breeze and then suddenly she turns pretty much evil and changes what she says daily. You never know if your doing the right thing because even if you do she changes her mind. Also she grades extremely tough and overall it is just a terrible class that your bound to fail.

DO NOT TAKE HER. You will only do good if your speeches are things that SHE has an interest in. She is very inconsistent and confusing. She can be extremely rude. We got homework EVERY single class (and its not easy work.)She acts all nice the first few classes and tells you that it's easy to get an A in the class. That's a lie. Don't take her.

She plays favorites like no other professor I've ever had. She didn't like me at the beginning of the semester and I got an 85 on a paper I spent four hours writing. After lots of participation and giving in to her POV, I got a 95 on a similar paper I put an hour into. I don't recommend her, but if you're a comm major you'll probably have to.
