Expects a lot from students but anyone who says she is rude is incorrect or maybe their opinions are outdated. She cares a ton and if you're willing to put in the work will do well.

This is one of the best classes that I took in Trinity. She is demanding, you should expect a lot of homework, lab writing, and a huge group project throughout the whole semester. If you are lazy, don't take her class. However, she is a great professor, always willing to help, lectures are very clear. You do what she told you, you will be fine.

Outdated, punishing, plays favorites, doesn't really know econ but will destroy you if you question her. Avoid the hate!

I had Prof Z in her first year at Trinity (ca 1978). She was the same then - demanding but helpful for those who were willing to do the work. Her expectations were entirely appropriate - you are at collge to apply yourself to learn.

Lots and lots of work but you end up with a wonderful finished product. Worthwhile in the end, especially if you care about the subject. If you do the work you will get a great grade. She is very involved with her students and puts in hours of work to help you succeed

Worst professor I have ever had. I got a "B" in her class but she is extremely rude. She plays favoritism in and out of class. I will not recommend her. Horrible experience!

Comment:
So condescending and rude. I did well in her class, but I have never seen a professor play favorites so much. Very insensitive. Her class was all right, I guess, but she does NOT want to help you more than she is contractually obligated. I grew weary of her very quickly. The material itself is fine, it's just her personality that is the problem.

Although I agree that zannoni can be rude and definitely scary, I left this class with a great understanding of macro. some of my friends thought the tests were unfair but if you really put in the time to learn everything from class, they're not impossible. It would've helped to have had a textbook, more homework questions, and practice problems

I'll be blunt, she's pretty rude. She isn't overly demanding, but she isn't very helpful outside of class either. I honestly thought she was kind of bizarre sometimes. I was interested in the class, but not because of her teaching. I ended up dreading her class.

Very good professors. She does not try to force her students to be classical, keynsian, or post-keynsian macroeconomists. The Econometrics project is a ton of work, but it is a good discussion topic in job interviews.

I didn't want to take this course but it was the best thing I ever did. Prof Z is awesome. She puts so much into each class. She isn't tolerant of laziness but why should she be? Has remained a mentor and helped me in other subjects even though she had no obligation. She Rocks!!

Keeps students engaged at all times. Homework load is very heavy; great feedback and direction. She is never easy, but I would take her for another class in an instant. She puts a lot of effort into what she does and expects students to do the same.
