Very friendly, funny guy. I had him for an introductory course with a lot of information, but he made it pretty easy to understand. He was also really understanding when you had situations come up that prevented you from coming to class. Sometimes he would repeat information or skip things, but it was overall an easy course.

He has a fun personality and is very willing to help anyone with any problem. His test are a bit challenging. ALWAYS do the homework he uses these to help you with your final grade and it's not at all hard to do. Do not be afraid to ask him for help, he wants his students to learn and pass.

Nice guy, but has not kept up with computers since the mid-1970s. Loves to say that math does not require numbers and comp.sci. does not require computers. Maybe right, but either requires knowledge that is less than 30-40 years old!!!!

Really, really tries, but is to occupied with ancient stuff and ideas and tries too hard to be "intelectual", without being convincing. Should to get back to basics and cut out the “cute stuff”. Not a great teacher, but an OK guy.

Gives you 2 class days to do all homework. He is very understanding and wants to help all his students to the best of his ability. He goes off topic a lot but that just means more time between tests. Always chooses good math books so if you don't like the way he explains something the book explains it too. AWESOME GUY!
