she was so boring and did not really know the material that well. i took this class over the summer and all i did was sleep during the class. i still got an A, with the minimal effort. she does try, but it doesn't help that it is summertime.

1st saw her as a coordinator for bio,thought she was mean and strict from the way she talked but had her for 100LW great instructor!!very strict on grading but they curved the whole class to boost up ppl that had hard TAs and lower those that had easy ones so no worries and it helped a lot for the finals, tels u wat specifc things she wants on pape

Yup, this class is hard to get an A because of the essays. Dilek is a tough grader! She'll slash any confidence you had about your writing abilities! But it's a good thing her quizzes are fair. She seems nice in class but distant when you talk to her outside of class.

this is the easiest no brainer class...but somehow it's so hard to get an A. wtf! dilek is nice...she explains very well. extremely picky on the essays...marks you off on everything. go to office hours and listen to everything she advises you to do on you essay.

She is a little "quirky". Her quizzes are fair and she is helpful at office hours. Just ask the right questions and don't seem like an idiot. For the final paper, she can critique parts of it and help you out. Overall a pretty good TA.

96-Always left exams thinking I did well but all I ever got were C's. 100LW-Fun lab section but she is never clear about your lab papers. Most people got C's or low B's and had no clue why. She may not even know what she wants

i would assume that her passion in life does not lie in coordinating a class full of whiny ignornant freshmen.stop complaining guys. for 100lw she is very clear and helpful. she is fair, funny, and creates an enthusiastic atmosphere in lab.

she's like every other bio professor. the key thing to remember, b/c you're gonna get a lot like her, is to go to every lecture, take notes, and memorize. not too hard if you do keep it up. book's not necessary unless you dont understand a concept.

I don't know about Dilek, but if Lucy teaches the majoridy of the class after Dileks first few lectures...then the class is a breeze. Lucy's exams were STRICTLY over the lecture slides she goes over during lecture (and which are online)....
