Diran was one of the best Prof. I have ever had here at WPI. If you ever have the chance to take a class with him, jump on the opportunity! Diran is by far the most intelligent person I have ever met, both intellectually and on a personal level.

One of the best professors at WPI. Has won many outstanding awards to prove his excellence. Prof. Apelian takes a personal interest in his students and asks things like "How are your other classes going? Oh if you are having trouble with that class you should do this..." Overall a nice guy and very professional too. Take a class with him if you can

Fantastic, professional lectures. Knowledgeable. Demanding. Exams test small pockets of knowledge deeply, leaving the "skip this section" student screwed. Don't look for 1-0n-1 time, you're an annoyance.
