One of worst professors I had at Syracuse! Encourages the men in class mainly. Made some weird comments about women. I can see why male students would like him, hence the positive reviews.

Very passionate about his subject, but ALL HE TALKS ABOUT IS PHOTOGRAPHY. He constantly name drops photographers he knows, etc. Great for a photography class, but I had him for a non-photo class and I wish I could have learned more about other subjects.

By far one of my favorite professors. His class is so entertaining to be in, as well as informative. Without even realizing it, you learn. Don't forget however to read the news and write the essays. Also his tests may be too specific.

I enjoyed this class and thought he was a great teacher. He tends to ramble on about stories and experiences that he has had, but if you listen to him it's highly entertaining. He always has an interesting opinion and something constructive to say. I'd recommend him to friends. He didn't use the textbook at all. Nice guy!

He is amazing. My all time favorite professor. His class is fun and not hard unless you don't do the work. He is a fair grader. If I could, I would take another class of his in a heartbeat. Take notes and listen to his amazing stories, he is highly entertaining and has tons of experience!!

Only cares about student's who he's had before otherwise he won't bother with you. Prefers the men in the class. (not in the sexual manner, only in academic interest) It was a great class, but unless you are his star, your a nobody. It's too bad I can't use him for a reference being that I want to go into fashion photography.
