You really learn how to paint in this class. HW is manageable, but if you don't keep up with it it will bite you at Mid term and Final review. Very knowledgeable and helpful, great crits, take him for anything you can, you won't regret it. Spring 15 is his last semester!

He's extremely knowledgeable about art, especially Italian REN. His love for painting is reflected in his teaching & u will learn much from him. If you are serious about painting, he is a teacher you should take. He taps into your strengths and weaknesses and helps you move forward from them. The classes are challenging but well worth the effort!
