Beachler is a good guy. He is very knowledgeable and loves debate although he does get a little boring sometimes rambling on. It isn't hard to get a good grade in his class as long as you pay attention, or read. He calls it "Beachler's welfare state".

I had Beachler for a seminar course entitled "Politics in the Age of Obama." Without question, Beachler is the man. He always keep class lively with his humorous stories, and you'll always want to come to class. The material isn't that hard, nor is it too much. Bottom Line: Take a course with Beachler, and you will not regret it.

interesting class, some good reads and some bad ones but class is always a joy to go to because there's the presidential election to talk about. his jokes are pretty old fashioned but he's got a good sense of humor. he often tries to play devil's advocate . dont take it as him ignoring your ideas, he just tries to have a conflicting idea to debate

So much fun and very easy on grades. Tests aren't hard if you've taken gov't in high school since it's basically the same material PLUS you get the added hotness of Beachler and his amazing humor. He's awkwardly funny and took us out to a freaking gorge for class!!! I LOVE HIM.
