Don is a brilliant man and a brilliant, gifted teacher. He is the kind of teacher you will remember all your life as one of the best. His passion is incomparable. His enthusiasm is unparalleled. His command of his subject is as much as one could ask for. He IS tough, but more importantly, he is FAIR. He will be greatly missed in his retirement.

Very strong personality. Don't take this class with him expecting an easy A. He has high expectations and looks for students to be committed and interested in what he is trying to teach. He has very little patience so don't re ask questions even if you don't understand it, ask a TA. Overall he is a very good professor but he is not easy.

There is a reason Don no longer is teaching 207 courses. Though at the beginning this class was a lot of fun it soon got way more intense then a first level acting course should be. Honestly, Don is crazy. Heavy work load and extremely high expectations... DO NOT TAKE FOR AN EASY GEN ED A!

Don has been everywhere and seen everything. His classes are interesting and fun! However, this is one of the hardest classes I have ever taken. 3 exams, bi weekly quizzes (do not underestimate), lots and lots of reading, 11 pg research paper, and more. Takes lots of notes and do the reading. Study ahead!! He rewards those who bust their butts!

Don is one of the greatest professors a student ever hope to encounter. However his grading is pretty harsh. But he loves and respects his students. I took his class 5 years ago and I still recall a lot from that course.

This class nearly gave me a panic attack on the very first day. He doesn't seem to realize students have other classes to attend to. I found his attitude and strategy not only intimidating but at times insulting.

I took his class over ten years ago and the information gained then has stayed with me forever. I'm not kidding. But yes, I recall he had an interesting eccentricity - if someone had a shoe up on another chair (just the bottome of the chair), he'd yell "Shoe! Shoe!" Thanks Don!

Don Boros is by far the best professor I could have encountered my first semester in college. The class and the way in which he conducts it is both demanding and inticing at the same time. Even if you walk into his class without a love and respect for theatre, you will surely leave with one.

he likes to have his ego boosted-- thats all. He will TELL you he wants you to be creative, but he really just wants you to do exactly what HE says. Don't miss class, there are NO excuses, and if you seem out of it he will lose it on you. No dozing off, no showing disinterest. Fun if you let it be, but painful if you don't want to be there.

Boros is by far the most passionate, eccentric, and occasionally downright scariest professor I have had in my college career. He will reward you when you do well, and never let you get away with mediocrity. He has a knack for sniffing out BS, so do the work. His class will be one you'll share with your kids. ...BTW, not for the faint of heart.

Don has been everywhere in the world and has so many amazing stories to tell. This class was fun at times, very stressful at others. The fact that the class was so tight really helped me get through the class. If you work really hard, he will give you his full attention and give great advice/critism. Just, don't get him mad. And don't try to BS him
