Very knowledgable teacher! Quiet voice & long lectures, but his good sense of humour makes up for it. He shows a lot of movie clips which I liked. Fair marker. I did well on his essays and he always provided good feedback. Must attend class as he posts limited lec notes. Def recommend his class if you are interested in the Bond genre! Great course!

Difficult!!!!! Exam was insane, and hard marker! NEVER cancels lecture *cough cough* (even during a massive snowstorm), so if you don't attend your screwed for notes! Post slides, but are not very clear. Found the class challenging and unclear! my own summary notes of books etc were more useful. Do not recommend!

Brilliant, hilarious, and challenging. He makes you think and his wry sense of humour rocks my world! It seemed to go over the heads of a number of students though, who only seem to get the more literal, smack-you-in-the-face with it humour. Take his class - for sure.

he was not too hard to understand,just enough to be challenging. I really liked the course and his comments on papers were always useful. He's very reserved, but i think he has an inner austin powers that he keeps a secret!
