Syllabus was a mess, and what was due and not was very hard to understand. Told us at one point to have a team paper, and 3 online tests, then changed to 5 individual papers with 4 online tests. Never gave feedback on what was required in papers, and as such I got my first B in my history of college (this was my last class for my degree as well).

Professor uses a seminar approach to teach the course. Students are expected to be prepared to discuss each class assignment in class. All tests are take home multiple choice. The requirements are 3 exams, internet exercise, and term paper. Each class opens with a critical thinking piece followed by class discussions.

All tests are open book and he allows you to work in groups. Slonecker was very easy to work with as far as make-up exams and work missed. As long as you complete all the assigned work you will pass.

He has hard take home tests. If u want to make a B go ahead take this class. He curved our grades and gave only one A the rest were B's and one C. This weird curve robbed me of my A.
