Great profeesor if your coming out of a conservative educational and family background. He will stretch your ability to understand the liberal perspective and has a great history of experience all over the world.....everything from environmental work, human rights, to bumming around India absorbing the diversity.

Comment:
A little condescending and not the most rousing lecturer (a professor is not paid to be an entertainer, afterall), but very knowledgeable and passionate about the issues he presents. Number and cost of books required for his classes is huge.

A good prof but spends more time telling stories of his past then teaching the class. Takes being a die-hard liberal way to far.
