I was expecting a lot more. I felt that the class didn't teach me what I thought it should. He discussed his background as a native american a lot. He also never could keep straight what was due when and he also changed the requirements of the assignment as well. Even though I did poorly on tests I still did get an A.

I loved this class. He is an active member in the world community, and is a fascinating person who teaches well. Take this class if you are interested in learning through the perspective of a very experienced man. Do not take this class if you have a crappy work ethic, bring a cell phone to class, or ask to leave early. It's Old-school respect here

I took Professor Kerbis and I thought he was very different but he brought alot of his own unique style to the classroom and it made the class interesting. I received an "A" in the classs.

I loved professor Kerbis! He bring many unique assignments to the class, and makes learning about TESOL fun. Yes, you do have projects to do, but they are hands on which make learning more fun. He does not teach directly out of the book, and brings his own unique knowledge to the class.Wonderful man

You would want him to be your child's teacher. There are a lot of unique assignments I've never experienced before. After doing them it's clear how those lessons would benefit ESOL students. The man is a national treasure.

He is very spontaneous which is a good thing. He does not do much talking but you learn from classroom discussions and projects. I loved this class.
