Spanish is my minor and I've had Señor Gomez for 3 classes and have absolutely loved having him as a professor. He is very passionate about the content he shows in class. I definitely recommend taking a film class with him because all the movies he shows are good and have good meaning behind them!

Gomez is my favorite. He is an awesome teacher with realistic expectations. He cares a lot about his students. Incredibly interesting. Do the work and participate and you'll do well. Awesome fashion sense. Becoming a well-known actor. Knowledgable about so many different languages, cultures. You will watch films, take them seriously. So helpful!

Great professor but can be a hard grader on exams in LSPN 122. LSPN 230P (in english) was an easy class, watched movies in Spanish with English subtitles and wrote short papers about each one. He has a great sense of humor, love him!

Positives: You'll learn quite bit, interesting information, not overly difficult in class work, ni final exam. Negatives: 11 essays, Daily work. Importance of things in his class (10= high, 1= low): Readings: 10, Listening: 2, Participation: 6.5). Great guy, one of my favorites. Daily work, tests not too difficult. Good class.
