Easy professor. 3 hour class but lets you out after about an hr to 1.5 hrs. Not many tests, gives you study guide with exact questions. you will watch twilight zone every class period. if class runs long then he gives breaks. lectures make you think outside the box. easy A.

This class is pretty much impossible to fail, he grades easy on the homework assignments he gives (there are only like 3 over the whole semester) and he tells you exactly what's going to be on the exams. The quizzes are open note, open book. Lectures are really confusing but as long as you study the study guides, you'll do fine on the tests.

Great guy, but his lessons were really confusing. You really have to pay attention to understand his lectures. Quizzes are open notes, tests are a little challenging. But the study guide helps to prepare you.

This professor was so kind. He was there if you needed help understanding a concept. He was just always very helpful. This class was relaxing and fun too! He would always show these cool Twilight Zone movies at the end of class that I always looked forward to. I would definitely recommend this professor!

He didn't care about us students. He just threw tests and quizzes at us. The multiple choice tests are hard, but he's leniant with the essays and other assignments. Take your laptop if you take his 3 hour boring class!!

I don't know how he got good ratings in '05, but I hear his class changed dramatically this year. While the class is passable if you read the textbook material, his lectures are unorganized and really hard to follow. Notetaking is almost impossible becuase he blabbers on. He is not very helpful & beats around the bush when asked questions.

i was excited to take philosophy, but a three hour class makes it hard to enjoy it. ashe was a great prof though. he understood that this was just an intro course and that most people probably didnt want to take it. he did a good job of balancing the material. there are lots of annoying girls who take this class to chat and shop online=lame

He is slightly easy but incredibly funny and entertaining. He explains everything very well and really lets you see how philosophy is in everything you experience through the curriculum he chooses.

he's funny, but the subject is kind of boring. His class is easy though, just make sure you take GOOD notes in class. Also the midterm is open note, and there is hardly any homework.

Dry sense of humor, let us out between an hour and 90 mins early in the 3 hr. class. Did a good job trying to integrate movies to help understanding and very little work other than reading. Stay on top of the reading...you'll regret it if you don't.

Donald is such an interesting fellow yet no one can keep up interesting teaching for three hours so we usually got to leave after 2. Pretty easy class not a whole lot of work.
