Jameson is a good professor. He gives good notes during lectures and is accessible outside of class. His tests are the hardest of all the chem professors, but he is a fair grader. He gives partial credit, but don't expect any multiple choice questions. There are a lot of pop quizzes but thats common of all chem profs in Chem107.

I absolutely loved Jameson. Unfortunately though, while he is a great chemistry teacher, his test are the hardest compared to Parker and the other chem profs. There are pop quizzes but if you're paying attention they won't catch you off guard. Make sure YOU DO THE HOMEWORK! It is very helpful for quizzes and exams and definitely go to office hours!

Lectures were typical and nothing special, but he never made them "boring". He randomly collects HW along with the other chem professors, but they all have different tests consistently challenging IMO. If you take time to learn the material this class with not be as bad as you might think. Kids who have already taken AP chem will do very well.

Sometimes it seemed like Jameson was too advanced to explain very simplified things for us to be able to understand the material. Tests weren't bad, lots of pop quizzes (this is every chem 107 class). Final for any chem 107 student is about 3 hours or more. Homework due every class, but doesn't collect most of them. Good professor.

Dr. Jameson is a great guy. Currently he is the chair of the chemistry department and has been teaching for over 25 years. His exams tend to be harder than other professors, but not by much. He gives unannounced quizzes in class that are usually easy if you understand what is going on in class. He encourages participation and has a sense of humor.

Jameson is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He was able to make a totally boring and hard subject and make it interesting. His style of teaching is engaging, and he is super helpful. I went to him so many times not having a clue what on earth the homework was talking about, then went back to the dorm and taught fellow students. LOVE HIM!

I frickin' love this guy. It doesn't get any better than DLJ. He's the only man I know that can make organic chemistry a matter of "intuition" and do it the way he does. I miss organic and his crazy teaching. I could rant about him all day...HE'S FABULOUS!!!!
