Kind man with an impressive understanding of the New Testament. Tells corny jokes, then blows air out of his nostrils as if to laugh. "Why were the Sadducees crying? Because they are so sad, you see?" Tests are straightforward.

Dr. Penny is a brilliant New Testament Scholar. I'm privledged to study under Dr. A.J. Levine (one of the most respected NT scholars in America right now) and Dr. Penny truly has prepared me for the rigors of her class. While his disability forces him to go slower than he otherwise would, he is thorough. Take and STUDY your notes, friends.

Great professor. It is sad that he speaks so slow and I am sure it will only get worse, but he is a brilliant man. As already said, he speaks slow enough you can write things verbatim. His tests are kind of hard, but if you study the notes each day, you will be fine by test time.
