Prof. Wood is absolutely crazy. If you can get over his strangely unique way of lecturing, you will enjoy this class. He knows what he's teaching and will make sure you understand it too. He gave me anxiety in the beginning but later on I really started enjoying this class. Not afraid of roasting his students so be prepared if your chronically late

He will go over the same chapter for two weeks, which is fine by me! He can definitely be rude at times unless he really likes you. If you do not understand he won't help you so don't bother asking questions. He really was an easy teacher but he's not too much help.

Took his class Fall 2012 and really enjoyed him. He's a little nuts but I found it to be entertaining and kept a boring subject fun. He jumps around a lot and doesn't alawys answer questions. Can be sarcastic towards slower students

Overall i enjoyed his class. Looking back on it, i noticed you needed to be on his good side to get help (as i was). Although he was very funny, he got moody at times, like anyone does. But he was definitely a great teacher who knew what he was doing!

Funny old guy keeps the class laughing, can be a bit rude @ times, the class was very easy 3/4 of the time. If you don't understand something he won't explain it further to you!!! he will make the person next to you explain it

Great teacher! He keeps class fun and is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He will explain the problems on the board with the class and then have the students teach each other. He will not move onto a new problem until the class understands. Great professor if math is not your strong suit!

AWESOME teacher. I wish I had a teacher like him in high school. He is extremely funny and makes learning fun. His tests are really really easy if you do your hws. Hw and quizes account for many percentage of the grade, however, the homeworks are very helpful towards the exams and basic understanding. Taking him for math32.

Professor Wood's class was very interesting and fun. His unbounded energy and enthusiasm kept everyone' s attention. His attention to detail made the material easy to understand. I would highly recommend that everyone take his Math 31 and 32 courses if needed.
