Winstanley is a great professor but her way of teaching is out of style. She sticks to overhead projectors instead of power-points. Most of the exams are easy however they do have some questions that could potentially have more than one answer, which makes it confusing. Pay attention the lectures and take notes on what she's saying too. Study too!

great teacher! she is pretty straight forward with assignments (there are like four tests and some of them are take home) she is good with helping you learn the material and the classroom atmosphere is comfortable. If you have the chance to take her then I would!!

This professor is beyond boring. Her classes are strictly notes so if you decide to skip a class be prepared to fail that exam because her notes are your guide to success for her class unless you have a good friend in the class to copy their notes. We had 4 exams 2 take home, and 2 in class. Overall, I struggled to keep my eyes open in this class.

she was very rude. she often responded to students answers with a simple no and moved along. her notes seemed to be very pointless & the class atmosphere was very boring . she used no story telling or examples at all and her tests did not match the notes. I have no idea where all of these good reviews came from but I do NOT recommend her to anyone

She assigns no homework throughout the entire semester except one little 4 paragraph essay. Two take home tests and you could get bonus points if you wanted to add to your test grade. Mostly a note class i might add! Easy A if you do your work.

She is awesome teacher. We had two take home tests and we could get bonus points on one test if we wanted to improve are test grade. And if you are out she will give you copies of the notes you miss if you ask her.

Let's get this straight, I loved history and I loved this class. She assigns no homework and has 4 tests all year. Her tests can be a little tricky but not impossible. She really knows the material and makes it easy for you to participate to enjoy concepts. She's funny and she's also very nice. Will definitely take another class with her again.

Nice teacher! Easy class and no homework. Just one project and we had to write only a paper. Everyone in my class hated her quizzes they are multiple choice but very confusing and tricky. I love history and never got below and A in my history classes but i got a C- in her class. Goodluck!

I could listen to this woman all day. She has a gift when it comes to story telling AND she knows her topic upside down and inside out. She makes learning interesting. I was never much of a history buff and still struggle to have an interest in "who is who", but she makes it all interesting. I love when she puts herself in the story. Too funny! Extraordinary teacher!
