Mr. Marfori is a good professor-comes 2 class in a good mood and jumps right into the day w enthusiasm. Take notes-write down what he puts on the board and what he say. Your notes will help you with your HW, quizzes and studying for tests. Tough grader. Remember, details and elaborate on essay questions. Absent? You missed some crucial notes!

He makes the class interesting. The only flaw is he is a professor who uses the entire time just because. He will ramble 100 examples and you hit a point of "I GET IT". He is just trying to use the time. Then he runs over because he has rambled, I had a 12:15 and his class was to end at 12:00. I was always late to my next class, that was 2 sec away

Comment:

Love this guy. A little unorthodox in his ways but I like it. He made that class very enjoyable and did not harp on religion or politics or try to convince you of agreeing with his views, like some other Philosophy professors do. Very unique and I am looking forward to taking more courses with him.

Comment:

Marfori does not grade on time and just slaps grades on assignments. His tests are tedious because he writes, "Why?" next to EVERYTHING. The book is essential for the homework (not hard), however, he covers test material in lectures. Take notes, complete work. He easily fills class time with topic-jumping lectures. Most frustrating his grading.

Awesome guy!His SUPER long lectures allow for you to take excellent notes and understand the philosophers and theories in his class, which is why attendance is helpful for you as the student. The book has great info, but the lectures are more helpful for the short writing assignments and essays on your exams. He takes a long time to grade as well.

Lectures are fun and informative. Will go way off subject and waste class time. Read the texts! Tough grader when it comes to essays! Read texts before class so you can ask questions and better understand. Does not wear shoes. Sit in the back if you do not like feet. Participate! Great teacher so make sure to discuss the topic in class.

Mr Marfori is an awesome guy personally and his lectures are interesting to say the least. Warning though, if you don't pay attention, you can easily get lost because he is a topic jumper. He frequently makes Star Wars references that'll have you so lost. A lot goes on at once but he does give tons of extra credit opportunities.

This was one of the most random professors I have ever taken a class with. I didn't understand half of what he was saying because it was a star wars reference and he got off topic, thus putting the class behind, ALL THE TIME!He knows the material and gives opportunities for XtraCredit tho.

This professor is awesome. He is definitely into what he teaches. Is willing to answer ?'s. Let's yo argue with him. He doesn't wear shoes in classroom which is funny and dresses weird too. Doesn't give a lot of homework. As long as you pay attention and take notes you can pass his class

Mr. Marfori is funny, its true. Heres the thing to watch out for...if you don't take good notes, you will have NO idea what the exams are talking about once you take them. And the quizzes and tests? essay formats. you need to have good writing skills.

Mr. Marfori is always glad to answer any questions you have regarding his lectures and he is very helpful in that aspect. He makes a lot of jokes and is quite charismatic so it makes the class very interesting. Really cool and laid back. Yes, the reading assignments can be difficult to understand, but he goes over them well in class. If you take good notes you will do fine. Love his class. He's my first class of the day (early morn) and I look forward to it! I didn't even have to read the textbook to understand what he was teaching us. By far the most entertaining and life-like professor I've ever meet. If you take good notes (everything he writes on the board) you'll pass his tests. Highly recommended! Love him!

This class can be challenging cause the book is a very high level of reading! but the lectures are good and helpful. The tests are ok, not too hard and not too easy because they are all short answer so you really have to know everything. Offers extra credit which helps too. I have enjoyed this class!
