Absolutely love her! Take her if you get the chance. She does not test on material she doesn't teach and she really loves what she is talking about and makes you enjoy it also :)

After losing interest by taking another professor for this class, she restored it by not making the subject harder than what it is. She's very clear on what she needs students to learn, even for the exams. She's a lot more thorough w/ the examples, and w/ rules & exceptions to the problems than other professors. She's doesnt instruct, she teaches.

Dr. Bobek is overall a very good teacher. I found the class to be demanding, but she gives full credit on the homeworks as long as you make a good effort. Exams can be difficult, but she provides a study guide for each exam, which helps a lot. She is better than some of the other alternatives from what I have heard.

This class has lots of rules, exceptions, and exceptions to the exceptions... it can get very confusing. Professor Bobek does a great job on her lectures and makes the class interesting and easy to follow. I wish i could take another class with her!

Projects are hard go to her for help... if you can get in a group. Make sure you go to class, and do the homework before each class. Only checks homework for attempts not for accuracy. Tests are very hard, especially the final. This class is not for slackers. Math is the most important part of the test. Average slackers will fail this class.

This teacher is awesome! I actually don't mind going to class and this is probably the most difficult class I have had yet in the accounting program. She understands that it is hard and allows you a "help" sheet (don't call them cheat sheets! :) for the first test, two for the second test, and so on. Reg. size paper, front and back! Take her!

Hot, Hot, Hotter-mean no disrespect to her, but she is hot-more VIP she is a kind educator!! Forget that totally-she is clear, concise, helpful, generous with help and guidance. What else can u want with this hard course? Don't take it if your a slacker, u must be serious, u can make a C, b< or more but do the work EVERY day, not on ur good day!

Dr. Bobek's Tax class is easy for those who love tax.. 4 exams, 2 projects, and weekly homework assignments that are graded for attempt make up your grade. Dr. Bobek isn't the greatest lecturer, but she is very helpful if you are having problems with exams or projects.

Very good teacher who looks danged good for her age. Actually found myself wanting to answer questions because she's so good looking. Also, as long as you concentrate, it's a good class, but she does move a bit fast. That being said, it's a 4000 level class so what can you expect?

Bobek is very clear in her explaination of the subject and is obviously deeply mitivated to help her students. Tax is going to be a difficult course under any circumstances , but Bobek gives you every advantage she can. Do try to avoid TAX4001 in the summer session.

It's absurd that people rate her poorly because the class is hard. It's hard because it is a tax class. All those idiots that walk out after break deserve an F. If your not interested in the class, then drop it or change majors. She is extremely knowledgeable about all tax subjects. If you go to most classes, read the material,&do hmwk, you be fine
