Incredibly rude and condescending toward her students. Constantly talks down to the University and the students that attend whilst bragging about her doctorate over and over. Gives perhaps the most left-leaning lectures possible. Also only really covers women's history while mocking student knowledge of the subject. Avoid her at all costs like everyone else does. Just realize that her classes are the last history classes to fill up- there is a reason. Terrible professor and rude, bitter person.

Worst teacher I have ever had. She is plain rude, and mean. Cusses too much and will make you feel stupid on so many levels. Late to class, and never lets out a second early not even after taking a test, that's right you have to sit and wait. Her test are a joke, and no matter how hard I studied it was impossible. Don't waste your time!

She's okay. Very intellegint but scatter-brained. Class always starts late. Only 3 exams and 4 class discussions. Exams consist of lecture, video and about 20 questions spanning 4 chapters of book (54 questions total.) Discussions easy, read a page and write a few points. She's nothing special, but an easy A. Chapter outlines on book website help!!

these ratings are ridiculous. I LOVE Dr. Graves. She is a bit scatterbrained. The tests are over the text book, & she tells you exactly what to read, & the mid term & final are over her lectures. Everything is handed to you, I don't understand what's so hard. I took her for 201 & 202 and i think she's wonderful, and history isn't my strong point.

Took her class online. I've seen 5 year olds who know more about computers! Very unorganized. Had to take midterm in the last half of semester because she couldn't figure out how to post things properly. Extremely late in responding to e-mails. Seems like a total basketcase. I will NEVER, EVER take another one of her classes.

You have two types of tests (lecture and Book) lecture tests are fairly easy...but book tests require A LOT of studying! I got an A, but i had to work for it. Take her if you really love history, but if you just want an easy A take Hardy!!!

She is a tough teacher and sticks by her word but not always her syllabus. She isnt an easy teacher but shes not that hard either. If you want a good grade actually read what she says and write down a lot of notes and you will do fine. She isnt as bad as everyone claims her to be. She just wants you to work for your grade.
