Honestly, you can't just go in and expect a blow off class. She's a great teacher and if you just ask she'll give you any help you need. I've taken nearly all my Mass Comm classes with her and have done just fine. You just have to actually try in her classes.

I hated this class. I started off as a mass comm major and then I had to take her media equipment class. I'm very shy and she made me feel like an idiot in class. She's a very stern teacher, but she did know her stuff. I dropped the class after she kept calling me out for no reason. Unpleasant lady.

worked for her as lab assistant and she was great. she is a nice person, great boss, and enjoyed her classes. Advice: do your work and be honest. Don't slack and expect a grade that you actually have to work for.

Dr. Gough is very good at what she teaches. She gets down & dirty along with the class when producing a show. She will offer her knowledge and rejoice with us when we achieve success (like winning 3rd in a state competition).
