Comment:
Donna is one of my favorite teachers at UMass. She really cares about her students and does whatever she can to help them succeed. The class was pretty paper-heavy, but if you do all the readings and participate in class, you should do great--and she gives amazing feedback. After taking her class, I feel very comfortable as a tutor in the WC.

Donna is wonderful. She is incredibly helpful and takes students̢۪ ideas and experiences seriously. A class with her will kick your ass, but it will be worth it.

ugh. not a fun class. I still have no idea what this class was about and how it could ever be useful for me. This lady was annoying and there was nothing useful or practical about her entire course.

For a class that wasn't my first choice out of the junior writing classes, this turned out to be one of the better classes I took. Interesting discussions and outlooks. The writing assignments were also unique and fun- such as the autoethnography of your own writing.

Comment:
Donna is very articulate, but she brought her politics to class, and her philosophical positions are poorly formed. I hope that she learned at least as much as I did.
