Comment:

As a person, Dr. Sollie is very sweet. However, every lecture was turned into an agenda for feminism and I felt like I was looked down on for having views that weren't extremely feminist, even though I'm a woman. It made me feel uncomfortable that this is all we talked about because frankly, I didn't care or really agree with much of what she said.

She's not that bad. Yes, she comes at the material from a feminist ideal, but you can still learn alot in her class. Higher education is about being open minded, and this class requires that.

The course had the potential to be interesting. However, it was ruined by the professor's feminist slant on every issue. In addition to forcing her bias on us, she gave a ton of reading (most of which argued in support of her Femi-Nazi agenda). If they are going to allow her to teach the course, it should be an elective and not a required course.

this class is not hard. expect a few small papers(not a hard). she gives you study guides and e-mails you notes. she does not try to make anyone feel uncomfortable( this is a sexuality class, not a virginity class, if all we talked about were virgins, we would not learn anything)

she is a HORRIBLE teacher! her tests are hard and you have no idea where she gets her questions from. I got a B because I did all my work but I did horrible on her tests. she is not helpful at all.

The tests in this class are pretty easy, but she grades the papers really hard and is not fair at all. She doesn't make it clear what she wants, and she just takes off lots of points if she doesn't like it. She is not helpful at all.
