Took 2-D: As an art major I feel that I learned more about how to make art from this one class than many others put together. Assignments are clear & had a purpose in our overall learning. Lessons are well paced, teacher extremely helpful. Everything she does supports learning. She KNOWS how to teach. Also a good person & a professional artist.

Unbelievably nice woman. You should attend every class. As long as you do, you don't really need the text. Exams are simple MC. Several writing/craft assignments, but very reasonable with due dates and doesn't mind if something is late. Only complaint is that she makes you go to Boston and spend a fortune to go to the MFA, ICA, & galleries.

She is really helpful and lenient on due dates. Her directions are a little unclear at times only so you can explore your own creativity. The slides are horrible and you WILL fall asleep. But she is one of the best teachers I know. And her collages are incredible.

Good prof but in my opinion way too many outside assignments especially if you work full-time and go to school full-time nights. Not sure why required text for this course. Never opened book once. As long as you take notes in class and do assignments on time, you should pass no problem.

Great professor! She wants you to learn about art and enjoy it. There are a number of assignments but they are easy and most of them are fun. Exams are multiple choice and based on the artwork she shows you in class. I really enjoyed the class and the professor. Highly recommend!

she can be helpful at times, but other times shes so unclear as to what she wants. she shuts the lites off and talks about stupid slides OVER AND OVER for atleast the first hour of class, the only good thing about this class that i reccomend people to take is that she doesnt care if you can or cannot draw!!! all she wants is a creative design
