ENGL3150 Good professor. She's really helpful in office hrs. She was usually pretty interesting.. if you catch on quick sometimes class can be painful because she explains very thoroughly. Didn't use the book that much. Tips; pay attention to what she says in class and take notes (exams should be easy if you take good notes).

Dorothy was a great teacher and cheesy funny. As long as you showed up and took notes you would do fine. You hardly use the textbook as well so it wouldn't be a travesty if you didn't buy it. Make sure you study your notes really well for the test because the tests make up the majority of your grade. She expects you to know the info well.

Professor Siegel is a great teacher. She knows the material so well, so the class isnt straight out of the book. This makes it much more entertaining. She is very enthusiastic - and sometimes silly - . She is very positive and upbeat. Great woman, and great class. I highly recommend her class, I am taking her again next sem!

Awesome, awesome, awesome (awesome!) class. I went in relatively uninterested in Ling., and came out intrigued. She goes slow, but explains SO well. And you actually LEARN. If you have to (or just want to) take Linguistics, don't take it with anyone but her.

MIND NUMBING BORING!! Try as you might - you will fall asleep in her class. Everyone is right - she repeats. She repeats. Oh, She repeats. She does make everything seem way harder than it is. O! Is it just me or does she remind you of Martha Stewart? She drives me nuts repeating the same thing 20 times over. She makes it seem so much more difficult than it actually is. She knows what she's talking about, but good lord lady! Give it a break. Seriously, if you want to go insane... take this class.
