Comment:

This was one of UHD best professor in the Social Science Department. I took her for death & dying and health, culutre and medicine anthropology. I really did learn alot in the death & dying class and by the end of the semester I did know why I took her class because I was just getting over the death of my cousin and her godson. Thank you.

MacGregor was not clear on the things she wanted. I did not feel I had a chance to improve the grades I did not do as well on. She talks way too much about her personal life. I did not care for her as a professor, but I hope she will be happy living in the country.

I think the way in which this class was taught allowed for too much fluff: too many days devoted to eating food and watching movies, too many personal anecdotes. She spent more time airing her personal politics than sound instruction in a legitimate scientific discipline. She might have won my "affection", but not my respect.

Also for ANTH 3313, Dr. MacGregor is intelligent, fun, and teaches with an obvious interest in her field. She made her expectations clear, provided multiple helpful tips for success, and made herself extremely accessible for assistance. If you take good notes, you should do well, but if you are striving for that elusive A, it is imperative that you read all articles.

She is the greatest professor I have ever had in my 3 yrs at UHD.. She is funny but serious when she needs to be. She makes the class hands-on so that you get the experience instead of just the lecture. If you take her you wont regret it. I highly recommend her for all the classes she teaches, cuz I took all 3 of them....

I took Cherylynn's D & D class this past semester and I love her to death! She is an incredible teacher and really gets you thinking and really cares about her students. I'm taking her Health, Med, & Cult class during Summer II and I can't wait to get back into class with her. Her tests are hard enough that you have to study & go to class!

Cherylynn has been the best professor I have taken in my college years. She has an amazing way of teaching to her students. I took her for two classes in row which meant almost 3 hours with her, but it was such an experience that I never got bored.. She is the GREATEST!!!

I absolutely love Cherylynn to death! She is an excellent teacher. Her method of teaching provides hands on experience so you can relate class material to your life. I must say she is THE BEST PROFESSOR at UHD in my opinion. Whatever she is teaching, I try to take it because I know this would be one professor that I don't have to stress out about!

Excellent teacher. If there were more teachers like her college life would be grand. Cares for students and is very fair. She is one person I would return to UHD and visit. She is truly a gem. Classes very interesting and you really get hands on experience. I plus of Cultural Anthropology is getting to eat in class 6 times durig the semester.

Professor MacGregor deserves a medal. Words cannot describe how I feel about her. She is one of the best professors at UHD. She is rated as 'hot' does not mean her classes are easy. She knows how to get her students interested in the subjects. She respects, listens and understands her students. She is absolutely the best. Be prepared to eat!
